Control Brand DC-221WT-R-B Tulip Arm Chair with Red Cushion
Eero Saarinen explained the inspiration behind his pedestal collection: “The underside of typical chairs and tables makes a confusing, unrestful world. I wanted to clear up the slum of legs." The result is the streamlined organic form of the Tulip Chair released in 1956. Widely hailed as a functional work of art, the chair consists of a contoured flowing seat and back resting on a tapered base. Despite its graceful lines, the molded ABS construction on a cast aluminum swivel base makes for a stable and durable piece. This model is crafted in white with a red cushion.
Features:
- Cast aluminum swivel base
- Red Cushion Included
- Dimensions: 32 1/2" x 26 5/8" x 23"
Control Brand LLC has built their reputation largely by word of mouth or because someone has admired one of their products in the home of a friend or colleague. So, if you haven't yet had the pleasure of seeing, feeling, or better still owning, a Kirch, here are a few reasons why you may want to change that Kirch prides themselves on “Unmatched Value.” They are a small design house with a simple aim-they want to put premium quality products within the reach of everyone. To achieve this they have inverted the usual business model. They employ no middlemen and bring the factory pricing right to their consumers, enabling themselves to deliver unparalleled value. In addition, Kirch offers “Honest Pricing” and “Style.” Kirch wants as many people as possible to enjoy the pleasure associated with owning a truly luxurious product, so they make sure that the cost benefits of their models are shared equally with their customers. From the quiet sophistication of their sofas to the subtle confidence of their wall clocks there is a timeless, understated quality reflected in a Control Brand LLC product which owes much to its roots. Designed at our studio in Farmingdale, New York, with meticulous attention to every detail, it takes hundreds of hours to complete the design of one of their products but, as we are sure you'll agree, nothing of real value is ever produced quickly.
